Universal User Integration

JFusion provides universal user integration, by extending the Joomla 1.5 user authentication framework without any core hacks.

What does JFusion do?

• JFusion will force Joomla to use an external software as the "master" of usermanagement. This has the advantage that users can login to both Joomla and the software integrated by JFusion using the same username/password.
• JFusion makes no changes to the Joomla core, which is very handy for upgrades.
• JFusion also comes with an latest activity module, that displays the latest activity on the forum in Joomla.

JFusion does not support every software out-of-the-box, but is designed for people to easily write a plugin to create a bridge, without re-inventing the wheel. Currently supported softwares are: vBulletin 3.6.8, phpBB3 and SMF 1.1.4, myBB 1.2.12, IPB and magento 0.8.16100.

You can also publish the optional JFusion activity module. This module will automatically get the settings from the enabled JFusion integrarion. You can modify the details of what is show in this module, once you edit this module in the Joomla module manager.
